Various Sites in the United States
Beazer/Three Rivers Management Inc. (Beazer) awarded a Master Services Agreement (MSA) to Sevenson to perform high-priority environmental remediation operations at hazardous waste sites across the United States. Under this MSA, Sevenson completed 33 task orders in 12 states. Sites were impacted by a range of primary contaminants of concern, specifically dioxin, arsenic, and PAHs, benzene, ethyl benzene, tetrachloroethylene (PCE), xylenes, methanol and coal tar/creosote.
Sevenson was added to the contract to assist the engineer and owner with project design and execution. This was done to streamline the study, design, and construction phases, bringing the best value to the projects. Sevenson offered constructability review and value engineering throughout the process to produce efficient, cost effective, and constructable remedies. By using this approach, issues during field implementation were reduced. Sevenson’s scope of work under this MSA included a wide range of remedial action operations and field support services, including remediation of residential and commercial properties; excavation of contaminated soils; construction and installation of soil caps; implementing corrective measures for groundwater; soil solidification/stabilization; structural demolition; test pit investigations; dredging and sediment capping; and extensive site restoration.
