A key to Sevenson’s success is an extensive inventory of company-owned conventional and customized equipment
Sevenson’s central equipment yard in Niagara Falls, NY operates and maintains a full complement of equipment, supplies, and materials for remedial construction and environmental dredging projects. Additionally, Sevenson maintains a yard in Toms River, NJ to facilitate rapid deployment of equipment within USEPA Region 2, specifically the state of NJ, being our largest service area. These yards are staffed by 14 mechanics, ensuring proper preventive maintenance is performed on Sevenson’s equipment, enhancing reliability and minimizing downtime in the field. In addition, Sevenson has over the road mechanics dedicated to servicing company-owned equipment at project sites across the country.
Sevenson owns and maintains over 2,200 pieces of traditional and customized construction and marine equipment and specialty tools valued at over $150M. This extensive equipment inventory, in addition to access via rental of even larger equipment inventories through national agreements with Caterpillar and Komatsu, allows Sevenson flexibility to plan and execute work while ensuring the right equipment is readily available when needed.

Sevenson’s fabrication and weld shop delivers rapid, custom equipment solutions that reduce downtime and boost efficiency on our remediation projects
Built in 2011, Sevenson’s 15,000 SF, full-service custom fabrication and weld shop, plays a critical role in supporting our field operations by designing, building, modifying, and repairing equipment. Staffed by 14 skilled welders and technicians, the shop produces a wide range of components, including custom scows and marine barges, dredge pumps, auger heads, sediment capping nozzles and attachments, HDPE moonpool systems, lids/containment systems for off-road haulers, custom clamshell and lid buckets, and additional support equipment. Sevenson’s fabrication and weld shop capabilities allow for rapid turnaround of customized or modified equipment to accommodate project-specific needs and is where extensive repairs on company-owned equipment are performed, resulting in a reduction in downtime in the field.
Sevenson’s investment in new construction equipment meets the highest energy savings and low carbon emission standards established by the USEPA
Supporting our commitment to sustainable remediation, 75% of Sevenson’s fleet is comprised of equipment that meet USEPA’s Tier 3 emission and fuel standards, upgrading both replacement and additional new fleet equipment with Tier 4 interim, and Tier 4 final engines. All company equipment burns ultra-low sulfur diesel fuel. On all projects where equipment is used on water, biodegradable oil is used in the hydraulic systems of the machines. Sevenson has continued to upgrade its fleet by replacing retired equipment with units that meet the most current emission standards established by the USEPA.
